Rosmini Hybrid Manager, Jacinda Butterworth, has worked in education for 13 years and run her own multi award winning business for 18 years teaching yoga and wellbeing practices to children and teenagers.
With an Honours Degree in International History and Politics from Leeds University, Diploma Level 3 for the Children and Young People’s Workforce and Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism, she has refined her skills in the education and development of children from 3 years to teenagers and young adults. She has taught at many schools and nurseries, including Maplewell Hall School, Fairfield Preparatory School, Leicester Grammar School, Leicester High School for Girls, Smarties Day Nursery, Our Lady’s Convent School and Birchwood Special School to name but a few.
She has devised a wellness programme and delivered wellbeing workshops to pupils and staff. Whilst teaching in different schools, she has been exposed to a wide range of educational environments and learnt from these experiences to improve her ability and knowledge. She runs training courses and workshops for teachers, teaching assistants, nursery nurses and learning support assistants.
Jacinda has worked at Maplewell Hall School since 2013 as the school’s Yoga Therapist and as a Learning Support Assistant. She supports pupils from Year 7 to 11 in their learning and works closely with the pastoral support lead to help ensure that pupil’s Educational, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) relating to physical and emotional criteria are being assisted.
She teaches groups of pupils from Year 7 to Post 16 for intervention sessions focusing on their physical and emotional health and development.
Jacinda worked at Fairfield Preparatory School for 10 years. She was part of the team who started Fairfield Kindergarten as a new enterprise, in a brand new building, helping to develop new practices and procedures. She developed excellent knowledge and understanding in regards to child development, the needs of young children, the roles played by adults in children’s education, safeguarding, equal opportunities and training apprentices.
She has gained substantial expertise in delivering curriculum frameworks, with a particular interest in personal, social and emotional development, physical development, communication and language and literacy.

They are trained by MVA’s mental health and SEND teams, ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive.
